Pediatric Physical Therapy

The physical therapists at Kinetic Rehabilitation Services help children with developmental delays or disabilities develop their problem solving and motor skills through play.   Our physical therapists utilize exercise and therapeutic play to address movement, coordination, balance, strength and endurance issues.

At Kinetic Rehabilitation Services, we work with infants, toddlers, children and adolescents with:

Developmental delay

Genetic disorders

Down Syndrome

Muscular Dystrophy

Cerebral palsy

Brain injury

And many more diagnoses!

We also work with adults!  For more information, click here.

What to expect:

Your child should dress comfortably for his or her appointments.  Workout clothes or other light-weight clothing and sneakers are preferred.

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out the necessary medical and insurance paperwork, or please see our Forms page to fill these out at home prior to your appointment.

At your first visit, your child's physical therapist will complete an initial evaluation and develop a plan of care utilizing a variety of treatment techniques and modalities while discussing your goals with you and your child.  At Kinetic Rehabilitation Services we strive to maintain a continuity of care where your child will work primarily with one of our licensed Physical Therapists or Physical Therapy Assistants who works under the supervision and direction of the physical therapist.

Our goal and focus for all children regardless of age or diagnosis is on improving overall strength, balance, coordination and mobility so that they can successfully play and interact with their peers.
